About SandhiMissionTo contribute skills for people to resolve conflicts without resorting to violence, to contribute to healing past pain, and to help create a world that works for all. VisionTo be trusted leaders in interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills training. To practice in our internal organizational workings the values of power-with and holding everyone's needs as precious, as we teach the process of how to do this in the wider world. Services We Offer
We are available to work with your group in Asia, and in other locations around the world. Contact us for more information. Sandhi Institute is a Not for Profit Educational Organization, registered under the Companies Act of Sri Lanka. We are all volunteers working for the joy of contribution. Occassionaly we hire short term support people such as translators, logistics coordinator, etc., The team and Board are all volunteers and we all have other work which we do for our livelihood. Financial Contribution: Sandhi Institute running costs are covered by workshop fees and individuals who donate money to contribute to this work. We have been honored with small project specific grants such as: Neelan Tiruchelvam Trust (Jan 2011, to conduct a TOT for trainers working in schools), Canadian CIDA (Dec 2010 for "contexualizing NVC for Sri Lankan Cultures and languages" conference), Cordaid, Netherlands (Oct. 2008 for visioning and capacity building training).
