For the past 8 years, through a variety of formats (participatory development methodologies; Attitudinal Healing; Nonviolent Communication) I have been bringing people together to connect with each other and to create understanding. The spectrum of this work has ranged from bringing community groups together in South Asia and Africa to assess and plan future development, to facilitating groups of people who want to support each other and share in their joint healing processes.

For the last five years I have been intensively learning, living and teaching the life-connected process that is Nonviolent Communication (NVC). This experience in NVC ranges from traveling with Marshall Rosenberg (the originator of NVC) and assisting in training peace workers in Croatia, to deep personal work to develop a more loving relationship with myself, as well as all those around me. I currently teach the NVC process throughout the NE United States and Eastern Canada through workshops, practice groups and individual sessions.

I have a dream to support groups of people in conflict to connect in deep mutual understanding in such a way that enables them to see the beauty and equality in each other, to appreciate the harmony and interconnectedness between them, and to find strategies other than violence to meet everyone's needs peaceably.
